Quick Hitters from the Capitol (and the final chapter on HB1013)

Some great momentum has been in achieved, even in just the last few days. The Governor signed the Unmask Our Students bill on Tuesday. The ban on Vaccine Passports is ready for his signature. So is a Frontline-supported bill to divest Georgia from Russian interests.

And we received another big victory on HB1013 – securing an amendment to add conscience protections. After ridding the bill of the mandate and changing the definitions, these conscience protections are another big step toward ensuring this bill protects our values. This bill – which has been significantly improved through the process – has now passed both chambers and awaits the Governor’s signature.

But there is still more work to do. We have major big ticket items that still need a push. Can you chip in to help us reach our goal of $2,375 today? Only a few hours remain to help us reach our goal for this quarter!

We are still working to pass a final version of the ban on Divisive Concepts, the Parents Bill of Rights, a ban on abortion-by-mail, Fairness in Sports, and more.

In addition, we are working to stop any effort to expand gambling in Georgia.
