We cannot sit idly by. For years, Home Depot has cared more about embracing woke politics than reflecting the values of its customers. Now, they have gone too far.
Recent “training documents” have become public where Home Depot attacks their employees’ immutable characteristics, their faith, and also police officers. They define:
White Privilege – if you are confident that the police exist to protect you
Class Privilege – if, while growing up, college was an expectation of you
Christian Privilege – if you can expect to have time off from work to celebrate your religious holidays
Cisgender Privilege – if you can use public bathrooms without stares, fear, or anxiety
Able-bodied Privilege – if you don’t have to worry about how to get into a store
Heterosexual Privilege – if you don’t have to explain that your spouse is of the same gender
The documents then go on to ask employees to “check your privilege” and then goes into greater depth, particularly on the concept of white privilege.
While these documents appeared in a Canadian branch, and the main office has not publicly condoned them, they have not repudiated them either. This lack of action in the face of such material is reprehensible.
This bigoted and woke ideology has no place in Georgia, and your dollars should not go to a company that wants to teach its employees to view you as “privileged” based on your immutable characteristics, your faith, and your commitment to following God’s Design. Moreover, the attacks against our cops are inexcusable and have no place in a major Georgia corporation.
