Today in Senate Education Committee, Sen. Greg Dolezal will present SB 233, “The Georgia Promise Scholarship Act,” aimed at providing true school choice in Georgia.

SB 233 would provide students and their families with $6,000 to educate their child and cover expenses. This would be a gamechanger!

TAKE ACTION TODAY TO URGE YOUR LEGISLATORS TO PASS SB 233!

Opponents of school choice are sure to trot out their tired, systems-oriented arguments. However, we believe that parents are best suited to determine the educational-needs of their child. Therefore, it should be parents that are empowered to direct the funds the government spends to educate their child.

School choice works! It helps families. It helps students. It helps employers in our state. It provides opportunities, and it is the single best tool against low expectations and indoctrination that sometimes comes with our public education system.

Imagine the impact this could have on our state, if we truly gave families a choice on how to educate their child – a choice for everyone, not just those who can otherwise afford it. Let’s transform Georgia and pass SB 233!
