A Monumental Stand Against Radical Gender Ideology

Last week marked a pivotal moment in the fight against the harmful and radical gender ideology that's infiltrated much of the medical community. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, representing an overwhelming 92% of all board-certified plastic surgeons in the United States, took a courageous stand. They refused to endorse “gender-transition” surgeries for minors—a monumental decision that bucks the trend of nearly every major medical group.

Instead of succumbing to the prevailing groupthink that pushes experimental and irreversible procedures on our children, they chose to uphold the fundamental medical principle: "do no harm."

Dr. Scott Bradley Glasburg, President of the Plastic Surgery Foundation, emphasized their commitment to evidence-based medicine, "As members of the multidisciplinary care team, we have a responsibility to maintain a robust, evidence-based informed consent process," Dr. Glasburg stated. He further noted that "the current research on chest and genital surgeries for adolescents with gender dysphoria isn't strong enough to support any definitive recommendations from our society."

We are hoping that more medical groups will follow in these brave footsteps, prioritizing the long-term health, well-being, and innocence of our children over ideological conformity.
