Carter Barrett has become a quick friend, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know him. Back in the primary, we supported his opponent – who is a friend and had worked with us on the issues. I heard great things about Carter, but we, as an organization, stand with those who have stood with us at the Capitol.
It says great things about Carter’s character that he made an effort to establish a connection with our organization anyway. He ran a great campaign and quickly has become a friend. Let me say without a doubt – I firmly believe that Carter Barrett is going to be a devoted man of faith and a strong conservative voice at the Capitol.
