Frontline Policy Council Newsletter
We are making an impact and building a movement – one that can transform our state and our nation for the glory of God. Here is just some of what you need to know about what is happening at Frontline Policy Council:
FRONTLINE ANNOUNCES $39,000 MATCHING GRANT
As the End-of-Year Giving Season rapidly approaches, generous donors have come together to build a $39,000 matching grant opportunity – which means the first $39,000 donated between now and the end of 2022 will be MATCHED DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR.
ATTORNEY GENERAL CHRIS CARR ACTS QUICKLY IN DEFENSE OF LIFE
On November 8th, Georgians re-elected pro-life Governor Brian Kemp and pro-life Attorney General Chris Carr – both endorsed by our sister organization, Frontline Policy Action.Their election is already making a difference after a radical activist judge with ties to Planned Parenthood enjoined Georgia’s Heartbeat Law. Governor Kemp denounced the ruling, and Chris Carr immediately filed an appeal. It is our hope that the Georgia Supreme Court will abide by the law, put the Heartbeat Law back into effect, and overturn this nonsensical opinion. Please pray to that end. Pray also for life decisions to be made and for the Pregnancy Resource Centers that are working overtime to navigate these challenges – encouraging women to make the right choice! In the meantime, please also share our unique Heartbeat education video so Georgians understand the truth about our law.
US SENATE RUNOFF IS UNDERWAY
We are called to Honor God with our vote, and every believer has a moral obligation to stand for our values one more time this election cycle – with a December 6th runoff election rapidly approaching.
Frontline Policy Council will soon release our Voter Guides, but, in the meantime, here is the early voting information:
DISRespect MARRIAGE ACT PASSES SENATE – FRONTLINE PLEDGES CONTINUED FIGHT FOR MARRIAGE
Ever since 5 unelected judges invented a “constitutional right” to gay marriage with the 2015 Obergefell, the law of the United States with respect to God’s institution has stood in direct opposition to Him.Last week, the Senate – our elected representatives – voted to codify this decision and DISrespect the sacred institution of marriage. A final vote now goes before Nancy Pelosi’s House, and there is a high likelihood that this will become law.Not only is this a violation of what God has made, it also puts religious freedom at great risk.Know this, however. Regardless of the outcome of this vote – and no matter how bleak the situation – Frontline remains committed to God’s Design for marriage. We will fight for this institution, work to see it restored, and seek to show the world what a blessing and joy God-honoring marriage can be. To support our efforts to fight for marriage, please consider a generous donation – a TAX DEDUCTIBLE GIFT THAT WILL BE MATCHED DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR – TODAY.As we move forward, it’s imperative that we note that the disrespect of marriage is a bipartisan problem. 12 Republicans voted with Democrats – including Georgia’s own senators, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock – to pass this evil act.In fact, the first pro-gay marriage nominee of either major party was Donald Trump in 2016 (he secured his nomination before Hillary Clinton won hers), and many of our insiders cite pressure from “Log Cabin Republicans” – which rapidly grow in influence – as a reason for Republicans flipping against conservatives.Frontline is committed to fighting back against the woke influences in our movement and standing firmly against those who would have our nation shake its fist at our Lord.
SPEAKER DAVID RALSTON PASSES
Georgia lost a giant – Speaker David Ralston has passed away. Our prayers are with his family and all those impacted by his legacy. In times like these, one’s personal politics do not matter. As believers, we can see past differences, mourn loss, and celebrate what God has done in the lives of others. Under Speaker Ralston’s stewardship of the House – a leadership role given to him by our Lord – our state passed the Heartbeat Law, provisions to protect children, and set conditions to make our state #1 to do business. We will be forever grateful for his role in these wins.He was a brilliant political mind, and he commanded respect. Join us in prayer and remembrance for this impactful leader.
