A Whole Different Ballgame
The race for President is now a whole different ballgame.
On June 23rd – the Sunday prior to the debate – I tweeted:
With the debate underway, I followed that up with this commentary:
Since then, we have remained consistent in our belief that there would be a new opponent to Trump. Now, however, the wait is now over: Joe Biden has officially announced his withdrawal from the race,and shortly after posting his statement, Biden followed up with an endorsement of Kamala Harris – the second weakest candidate, outside of the president, that the Democrats could put up against Trump.
A now sure-fire win looks much more in doubt.
Again, here’s what I said after the debate on June 27th:
We are the leading Christian organization fighting for conservative wins in Georgia, and this race looks dramatically different than it did this morning. We’re asking you to help us raise $10,000 for our war chest between now and our end-of-month deadline!
As Biden’s poll numbers dipped, Trump’s favorability rating remained unchanged. By nominating a candidate whose mental capacity is not in doubt, the leftists will, once again, have a realistic shot to win.
We cannot let this happen!
Even with Biden off the ticket, the leftists will still run on an agenda of increasing costs, open borders, American decline, "trans-ing" of children and caving to radical agendas.
Do not make the mistake of underestimating who the leftists offer for President. Kamala is a walking meme and laughable soundbite machine who clearly isn’t playing with a full deck.
But, nobody can accuse Kamala of dementia, and the media and the Democrat elites will be united behind her candidacy – just like they were behind Biden’s in 2020. They will cover for her misgivings, turn her into a historic underdog story, and create mounting momentum in the lead-up to early voting.
There can be no doubt – whereas leftists stood no chance with Biden at the top of the ticket, they have put themselves back in the ballgame.
