Today is Legislative Day 27, and Monday is “Crossover Day” – meaning the time is running short for legislation to pass the Chamber of origin in the “normal method” (amendments are always possible).

We need you to Stand Strong!

Today, the Senate is set to consider SB 57 – which expands gambling to include sports betting and gambling on horse races, which causes race tracks to quickly function as “mini casinos” with slot machines and gaming that would surely turn into more over time.

TAKE ACTION AGAINST GAMBLING EXPANSION!

Something not on the docket is legislation to protect children from “gender reassignment.” As you know, we have been working to strengthen SB 140, which currently allows for puberty blockers (which then lead to irreversible “gender reassignment”), has limited enforcement, and needs language clean-up. We are encouraging legislators to strengthen and pass this bill.

TAKE ACTION TO PROTECT GEORGIA’S KIDS!

Also not on the calendar are either of the school choice bills Frontline supports in the Senate – SB 147 by Sen. Shawn Still and SB 233 by Sen. Greg Dolezal. These are important bills that give children opportunity and strengthens families. We need school choice in our state, and these bills deserve a Floor vote!

TAKE ACTION FOR SCHOOL CHOICE!

Ending on a good note – we are excited about SB 222 on the Floor today. This legislation bans “Zuckerbucks” – outside funding pouring in to influence Georgia’s election system.

TAKE ACTION BY SUPPORTING ELECTION INTEGRITY!

Please take advantage of these alerts and please keep our team in your prayers. These are challenging days, and we need wisdom, sound strategy, and the Lord’s favor.
